shady bard begin unassumingly, an icy sea wind drifting from the speakers, keyboard seen increasingly through the mist. The vocals come in and gradually the other instruments (and there are a plenty) home into view, linking hands and swaying amidst the harmony. They have a Gorky's/Mull Historical pastoral piano-folk charm, and give off a soft, summer evening feel, comfort blankets and star-filled skies with a dot of cloud drifting in and out of view with deliberate slow-mo calm. That said, they verge into apocalyptic-edge symphony at points, encoring with a torch-folk treatment of Editors' Munich that builds to piano-battery in their post-rock wind-down.
