shady bard are a new collective of five from Birmingham. “Treeology” [is] a shimmering and gorgeous tune...that just hits you hard and often. “Bobby” is a bit simpler, lead by a piano and that big last line of “we're all to blame in the end.” “Torch Song” gets a bit more experimental and a grandiose sound. shady bard are really onto something with this EP, its very massive and deep with some really impressive instrumentation. This is certainly a band to be on the look out for. 8/10
