First, The Winter… is the special winter 2007 release from shady bard released on Static Caravan. Limited to 150 copies, the four-track EP comes in a hand-sewn pouch with a carol service insert. An exclusive wooden boxed edition is available to the first few who order. Following the release of their debut album, From The Ground Up, earlier this year, the EP brings together lost demos and new material inspired by snow and ice – from the heaviest winter blizzards on record in Britain to the pioneering snow crystal research of a Japanese scientist.
