From The Ground Up is the debut album by shady bard. Produced by Robin Housman and the band's Lawrence Becko, the album features fully re-worked ep tracks and new songs, and marks two years of collaboration with Static Caravan Recordings. Influenced by personal, political and environmental breakups and breakdowns and shaped by synaesthesia, From The Ground Up uses the full range of shady bard's inbuilt orchestra - violins, cello, French horn, casiotone, piano, percussion and multilayered harmony vocals.
